I used to ride dirty bikes both 250's until I crashed one really bad. 17 years later I picked up another 250. This one is a nighthawk and I use it mainly for city driving since it blows pretty bad on the highway.
Anyway... Wanted to say hi and it's good to be on 2 wheels again even though they are not "hot wheels".. :hello

Hi there. I've been contemplating the dirt scene as I wouldn't have to deal with other drivers on the roads. Welcome to the streets.

SQUID:
An acronym for:
"Stupidly Quick, Underdressed, Ignorant and Dangerous", or
"Stupidly Quick, Underdressed and Imminently Dead", or
"Super Quick Until I Die"
usually used as a name for newer bikers dressed in shorts, tshirts, etc. or riding irresponsibly or dangerously... :naughty

Now thats funny stuff right there!!!
So one more quick question... How hard is it for a new guy to ride and safely handle a 600cc GSX or the 750cc GSXR ?
I like them both but would like to get one that is pretty calm unless provoked if ya know what I mean.
Thanks!

I agree about the 750. 2 weeks after buying a 600, you'll want to upgrade anyway.

I think my next bike will be smaller displacement, better fuel economy.

Hello everyone!! Thanks for the greats!!
When I go bigger I will be keeping the smaller bike... That lil 250 is great for in town running.. The larger bike would be for traveling, cruises, covering long distances in short periods of time... etc... :angdrag
