Now your talking my language... Lets see where to start... I have a 53' M1 Garand, 76' Ugo SKS, Remington 870 Express, and a Springfield XP subcompact. Im working on my ccw... First of all you need your gun. (call me for info on that) then you need some practice.. (I can help with that aswell) and then you just need to take the classes and meet the requirments... (Criminal record and such) And just so everybody knows you can give me a call and I'll take anyone out to the range for some time... I compeat on a national level... NEXT WEEKEND!!!! So yea you should all be afraid...

i am pretty decent with my g19 i am thinking of a 26 or 27 for easier carry i would like a sig p239 or is it a 229

ThunderStruck
July 28th, 2006, 04:07 AM
Make sure you read into the reliability of the gun your gonna carry... You better be DANG sure that if you need it, its there for you... I have heard of a few hangs with the Sigs... And the Glocks are a bit thick... You have to watch the print if your gonna carry under the shirt... You should look into a Kahr... Their just awsome carry guns and the XP won just a ton of awards... They will out glock a glock anytime, anywhere... Goodtimes.

ThunderStruck
July 28th, 2006, 11:34 AM

Taurus .357, 8 shot revolver, Taurus .357 titanium with the concealed hammer, Kahr K40.
Springfield Hawkin .50 muzzle loader.

I've had my concealed permit since they first came out (on my second one now). I don't carry too much but I like the fact I don't have to lock it up when I go to shoot somewhere.

I have a Ruger P94 .40 as home defense, Taurus Raging Bull .44 deer slayer and a few odd rifles and shotguns. I took the CCW class, but never filed the papers. I never plan on concealing a pistol so what's the point. I can't shoot strait with them anyway. I'd rather conceal a shotgun!

.22 Ruger Mark II Pistol w/ red dot sight
.32 Taurus 246 Revolver

.22 Ruger 10/22 Carbine rifle w/ purple (yes purple!) thumbhole stock
.22 Ruger Ninety-Six lever rifle

and
I don't remember what the black powder long gun I have is. I just know one of these days i need to pull it out of the safe and have it refinished.

I use the Mark II for the pistol league I'm in and the 10/22 for the rifle league. I haven't fired the Taurus or the Ninety-Six yet. The black powder is more of an heirloom but it was fired by grandpa before he passed. Actually, all but one of these guns came from my grandpa. The Taurus was my grandma's :). Hoowever, he didn't have the red dot sight on the pistol or the purple stock on the rifle.

I'm going to be putting an M1 on layaway over at on target ... so soon I should have one of those.

If I can find an american made Garand I'm gonna hook that up too.

But what I need is one of these...

if and when i finnaly get off my butt and go take the ccw course i do plan on carrying. esspecially when im traveling (provided ofcourse that state alows our ccw there). a few trips through some hood with a nice shiny sport bike on a trailor behind you will surely get you nervous, when you accidentally got off at the wrong exit, which has on ramp for ehh who knows howmany miles. yep right now i take one of the pistols with me and separate the ammo, i just hope to go i never ever need to use it.

ehhhh yea i dont think i want to even partialy think about doing that. esspecially since some of our presidential canidates are talking about pulling out of NAFTA which i think we should, but if we do well something tells me our neighbors are NOT going to be very happy with us and if i was planning a trip to canada id do it before the end of the election just incase that does end up happening.

A nice thing about the CCW is when your want to purchase a hand gun @ a store or a gun show when you were not expecting to buy you can just show them your CCW instead of getting a purchase permit @ the county. I guess its good for an impulse buyer.Hehe
