im going to be installing central air or at least part of it into the house today so im out.

our 1 window shaker runns full tilt in the master bedroom all day every day in the summer. when it its 90 or about out side the litte window shaker that could struggels to keep up with the temps, and the 2 levels below it start climbing in temp fast. the partialy sunken floor is cool most of the time, the main floor how ever is sandwiched inbetween the 2 cool floors, and if you cook or leave a light on holy crap it gets warm, and it seem's like it takes forever to get the temp back down.

what realy sucks is a year ago we picked up a big basterd window shaker (warning larg azz window needed) and i didnt put it in this year. im debating as to if we sell it or i keep it for when i get a pole barn hehehe. it is 18,000btu's and it requires a support under the back of it. hell its so large i would need some of you guys to come over and help me install the damn in the window every spring and take it out every fall.

Our house must be insulated pretty well. The AC is set @ 77. The main level is comfortable. The lower level where we have the theatre is just too cold to be in.

I wish I could regulate the basement better. :? My daughter has to sleep with a snowsuit on. :lol: :lol:

i know i go to my game room it almost seems to be twice as cold down there
