Andrew "AKA Darkmind " is currently in Butterworth Hospital from a bike accident. I'll be visiting him tomorrow 8-9-06.
Dont exactly know what happend better if you hear from him. It sounds pretty serious if theres internal bleeding. :(

Got off the phone w. Andrew. Left arm is fractured in 3 places, and Seperated shoulder. He was already talking about getting the bike back and using it as a track bike (that's a Rider!!!). Heal up man.

I went in to see him today... He pretty druged up but still with it... He'll be laid up for a while. The arm is messed up but he's a trooper... He is REALLY board though so if you have time stop in or just give a call.

David, David, his wife, and I went up to see Andrew tonight 8906, he is in good thoughts, and he's chasing every cute nurse up there, I guess he came out of surgery, and asked the nurse what she was doing later that night!! :D Like Bae said, fracture left arm 3 places from elbow down, and right shoulder dislocated. He did walk us out, and he was feeling "ok" he was worries about missing the SEPT 3 cookout, so we'll have to arrainge him a ride! Please keep Andrew in thoughts and if you pray, in your prayers. SPEEDY RECOVERY ANDREW, GET WELL SOON

thanks for the official update Mike. :rock after reading everyones posts, its cool to see all the support people are giving out. its an even greater pleasure to hang out and ride with great people who don't just think of themselves.

Where do I begin?

was working on my day off (sunday) left around 4pm and wanted to take a short ride home so i headed towards 196th and 28th. Went to change lanes on the onramp as it started to curve but did not see the loose gravel in the middle of the road. Dont remember much of what happened but if it was not for a former Navy Corpsman I would not be here today. I had broken my arm in three places and one bone had ripped apart an arterty and pushed it out of the skin. Needless to say i was bleeding and bleeding a LOT. If he did not show up i would have bleed to death on the side of the road by the time the meds showed up.


I have been cleared of any wrong doing by the state tropper that showed up and all of the reports he collected. Everything points to the loose gravel in the road as the main cause of what had happened. That being said State farm is still saying i'm at falut, once they told me that i kindly told them that they will be speeking to my laywer from here on out. Will see what happens but i'm hopeing to get enough money for another new bike and get the trashed bike in my garage to turn into a track bike. I talked to Shawmet today a they said that its totaled big things are a bent rim, bent forks and all the plastics are trashed. If I can find a way to shawmet tomorrow i'll get some pics.


I'll be off work for some time so i can heal up. I am now home and i live at 328 Jean street, my door will always be open if any you guys want to stop by. I would love to see all the bikes if you guys are out for a ride this weekend. I wont be on the net much as i'm haveing a hard time sitting up for any amount of time. Pain killers just make every thing spin and make me puke. Please feel free to call me at 904-334-9722.

looks like the kneck in the frame may be bent...or if you are lucky then just the forks are tweaked towards the engine. Get that bike back and worse case you can sell it to me. LOL

Hey man, Glad to see that you are doing better. I was away on vacation for a few weeks and didn't hear about this. Which on ramp were you takeing? East or West bound from 28th st ? I take the West bound ramp every day and occasionally the east bound one.
