Finally, got my first bike!

Well, i've been saying I'm gonna do it for about a month now....today i finally did it. I bought a 2005 Honda CBR 600RR. It has about 1007 miles on it at the moment, but that will soon be skyrocketing. I am waiting for Thanasi (the guy i bought it from) to get the flush mount turn signals and Fender Eliminator that he ordered in. So it looks a bit naked. I will take some pictures once I get everything on....hell I'll probably take them anyway as it is and post them. I only got to take it up and down my street a few times (in the dark and on wet roads) so I'm still itching to get some decent seat time. I ordered a Kobe Dragon Jacket from http://www.1888fastlap.com and I ordered the Icon Pursuit Gloves (stealth) and a Clear Keiti Tank Pad from http://www.tonker.com Picked up an 07' HJC Orbit Helmet from Performance, they did me well. I'll be getting some Amsoil Synthetic and a filter from them tomorrow.

Thank God the wait is finally over....can't wait to get in some ride time. See ya on the streets!

Oh, and thank you once again David, for driving it home for me in the sprinkling rain. I owe you a beer or something.

Why settle for pictures when you can come to Performance at 1pm and see it yourself? (Unfortunately I won't be going on the ride with you guys, but at least I'll get to meet a few of you)

Actually I'm stalling. My main PC died, i'm using an old POS which is enough to get on the internet until I can get the parts I need in. So I can't get my pictures onto the PC.

Yea, that's going to be taken care of really soon. I ordered a fender eliminator from Performance, should be here tomorrow or the day after. But hey...ya do what ya have to do to ride.

I need to get some pictures posted soon, I added some mesh to the fairings. I just cut up a Silver Mesh trash can I got from Walmart for like 7.00 and picked up some black silicone...the high temp stuff. After a couple hours of bending, snipping and glueing...she turned out nice. I helped Thunder do his today in black mesh. He laughed at me when I told him I was going to mod my bike with a trash can.
