go to "user control panel" on top

then left to "profile"

as for pics. you can either upload from your computer c:/mypics/etc..

or hot link it from photobucket.com or similar

you need the url of the pic. enclosed around IMG tags

example (remove the * before use)

[*img]http://www.mypicisfoundhere.com[*/img]
