Greetings! I moved to MI from CO a couple of months ago. Moved to the US from England in 2005. Done lots of riding around the UK and mainland Europe (French, Swiss and Italian Alps and The Pyrenees). Previous rides include R6, Daytona 600, YZF600R. I am just outside of Kalamazoo. Hints and tips on some great riding roads/meetups would be appreciated. Everything looks fairly straight compared to Colorado :)

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll find people to ride with. Doubt you'll find roads like you had in europe!!!! We have a couple nice ones but nothing like those here.

I called Triumph as my bike was less than two years old; I talked to someone there off the record who said you just need to change the head light (dip beams the other way), tail light and put on some fork reflectors. However, my moving company advised me against it saying that customs would need proof that the engine met the emissions standards and if not they could impound my entire container (with all my worldly goods inside) and charge me by the day. So, I decided against it. Broke my heart!!!

yea compaired to CO we dont have diddly squat for roads. there are some here and there but realy if you want roads that are twisty its either you ride up north about 2.5 hr to the northern part of lower MI or the tracks grattan and gingerman, thats the best twistys around. there are a few by gun lake and some here and there but they are hard to find. im a way's south of you in oshtemo, ive got a new little girl so i dont get out to ride much. maybe 2 times a month now.
